Field Presence & News
UADA's work doesn't stay in the meeting room. This page collects where our work is showing up, so you can see the field's conversation as it happens.

Where We've Spoken & Presented
Members and UADA staff regularly share lessons from the network at conferences, convenings, and webinars.
Sustainable Agriculture and Food System Funders Forum (SAFSF)
In June 2026, UADA had the pleasure of attending and organizing a field day at the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Funders Annual Forum in Savannah, GA. The UADA Field Day, titled Rooting Policy: Municipal Leadership Transforms the Reality of Urban Agriculture that took attendees to two urban agriculture sites in Savannah. Field day presenters and participants discussed the ways that urban agriculture is a tool that drives community building and youth engagement, and explored the strategies the Savannah government is using to meet the growing public demand for urban agriculture infrastructure support.

Members at the table
UADA members often use their shared voice to back each other up. In November 2023, urban agriculture staff from Boston, Washington, DC, and Austin, signed a letter to the New Orleans City Council supporting a dedicated Urban Agriculture Liaison position, as proposed by the community-led A Greener New Orleans campaign. The position was established in late 2024, and the campaign's platform became the city's urban agriculture work plan.
Up Ahead
